Honduras Compassion Center

Since 2023, Colorado Christian University (CCU) has collaborated with Compassion International in a groundbreaking University initiative to support the children of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. After successfully raising over $27,000 to build a new child development center in partnership with Compassion International in Honduras, CCU is now spearheading an initiative for our students to sponsor the 150 children currently enrolled in the program. This dynamic ministry opportunity not only fosters healthy, holistic growth and development for the children of San Pedro Sula but also provides spiritual growth and leadership opportunities for CCU child sponsors. Through discipleship and relationship-building with their sponsored child, CCU students will enhance their own leadership skills while contributing to the holistic development of each child — mind, body, and spirit — within Compassion's framework of international, long-term child transformation.
