Happy Sunday family and friends!

Today we had a slower start to the morning eating pancakes and planning for our Sunday school! We had around 30 kids show up for so many fun activities and Bible time on the story of Esther. We started off with a skit of lions and tigers showing how we are all created uniquely by God and we are all his beautiful children. Emmy then told the story of Esther and how she was used by God in an amazing way to save her people. The kids then decorated crowns, played sharks and minnows and soccer and had SO MUCH FUN. Then Naomi led the kids in a time of dancing where we gave glory to God with our bodies and praised him with joy in our hearts. Every kid got to find joy in a variety of different activities and praise the Lord in unique ways. After a lunch of soup, we continued passing our groceries to the community through home visits. We met people going through hard times but with such faith in the Lord and we were all encouraged by their stories. We got to pray over these people and they felt truly blessed and seen. Then we went to the beach and had an amazing time swimming in the ocean, worshiping and having good conversations, with a lot of falling over from hidden rocks. Then we had another amazing supper, with fry jacks of course, and all enjoyed watching Lyneah and Brian prepare for a skit for the high schoolers tomorrow. Lastly we finished the night off with an ice cream run and devotional on humility, reminding us all that the Lord’s power is made perfect in our weakness. We are so excited to see how the Lord is going to work in the hearts of Sarteneja tomorrow!
