Honduras Day 6

Our last full day in Honduras was filled with SO MUCH joy. When we arrived on site, our team put together a last VBS for the kids at our site. We performed a song and a skit, gave them a craft to do, and played games. We got to teach the kids some American games, and they also taught us some games they often play.

We also got to experience some really sweet moments at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the playground at our site. President Hogue and his wife were able to join us for the ceremony, and we all got to engage in beautiful worship to the Lord, some amazing spoken words, and a really exciting cutting of the ribbon!

Finally, after playing with the kids at our site, we visited one last mature compassion site that was 18 years old! We heard a couple of testimonies from kids who grew up in that program, and that was really powerful. It was amazing to hear about the way compassion blesses the families and communities it serves!
