Uganda 2025: We Are Here!

Hello!

The past few days have been filled with over 30 hours of travel. Our team of nine flew out of the country from three different locations and met back up in Turkey. The group flying out of Denver almost had a complication... one of their flights left later than anticipated, so they only had an hour layover to go through security again and get to their connecting flight! Praise the Lord, someone gave them directions for navigating the airport, and a travel agent helped them skip most of the security line. They got to their gate within half an hour of departure. We also praise the Lord for a smooth landing in Uganda went smoothly. None of our bags were lost, and we got through customs quickly.

Since landing, we have each been dealing with our own jet lag. Uganda is nine hours ahead of Denver. After a day of rest in Kampala, we drove over six hours to to Fort Portal. The road was quite bendy and bumpy at times! In Fort Portal, we have been resting and settling in. You can pray for unity in our team, wisdom for planning the FaithQuest camp, and that God would bless the relationships that we build with the people here. Bye for now!
