Safari and School Visit

SAFARI
We stayed at a hotel for a night and enjoyed the swimming pool and nice showers. The next morning, we got up before sunrise and began our safari drive. We saw elephants and water bucks. Later that day, we went on a boat tour and saw hippos, crocodiles, and more elephants and water bucks!

SCHOOL VISIT
We had the opportunity to visit a local Christian school. We taught a lesson based on the FaithQuest theme of the body of Christ. Each grade from grades 1-6 had a rotation with us. We explained how a person needs their eyes, ears, hands, and feet to work together. Then we asked the kids what they want to be when they grow up, and we explained how society needs all of those occupations to help out each other. Then, we taught them a game about teamwork. Each kid had a buddy, but one had to close their eyes and the other had to hop on one foot. They had to link arms and race to the finish line!

CONCLUSION
Almost all of our team has travelled back to the States. However, our teammate Jo is staying in Uganda for another couple of weeks as part of an internship. She will be continuing ministry and further investing in the relationships we have here. You can be praying for our team to be open to what the Lord is teaching us as we rest and process the trip. Please also pray for discernment for Jo. Thank you all so much for your support!
