WELCOME BACK FAM
Today was jam packed again with much laughter and tears of joy. We started our day off by going to local businesses and buying beautiful things as mementos from our trip. These people were so inspiring in the unique ways they bless the community. Their art and their joy for their work touched our hearts, and our wallets. After this we came back to the church for lunch and prepared for painting. At the high school we worked so hard and painted the whole outside of the school and a mural to bring encouraging words for the students to read every day. We had so much fun and the students enjoyed helping us brighten their building, even on their day off. Then we went back to the church for day two of VBS where we did another skit, craft, and played more games. We loved this intentional time with the kids and how much laughter and smiles they have when we spend time together and show them we care for them. We played volleyball, monkey in the middle, and at the end they all loved taking pictures with us and having us write our names on a piece of paper that they can take home to remember us by. After this we had STUFFED FRY JACKS (see photo below--its in the purple basket) and had a sweet devotional time on the abundance God gives us. Then once again we went for our nightly ice cream and invited over twenty kids to join us, which was a blast! Overall it was such a joyful day and we are so excited for tomorrow.
